LOCAL EXPERTS IN TOWN PLANNING

Founded in 2015, Capital Region Planning has grown to become the capital region’s largest town planning consultancy. Our extensive experience and expertise encompasses strategic planning across commercial, industrial, mixed-use and residential development, as well as major transport and water infrastructure projects, significant recreational projects and large infill developments.

Capital Region Planning is the NSW arm of Canberra Town Planning, we are based in the Australian Capital Territory and provide a variety of planning services to the surrounding NSW regions.  For over 6 years Capital Region Planning has been involved in a multitude of project and developments for a variety of government and private clients.  These include preparation, submission and management of Development Applications for mixed use developments, residential developments, commercial, retail, seniors living, community uses and subdivisions (residential, industrial and business parks).  We also offer provide expert planning evidence services to the NSW Land and Environment Court.

Capital Region Planning also provide strategic planning services including rezoning of land (planning proposals) and strategic plan making services such as review of LEPs and DCP for local governments.

Capital Region Planning also undertakes independent assessments of Council developments and controversial Development Applications on behalf of Consent Authorities.  This work includes Development Assessment reports provided for Councillor determination or determination by NSW Regional Planning Panels.
